Looking inward to reflect

And remember the importance of the small things.

I was reflecting about the importance of the small things in life. Small things compound over time to make a difference. Think about daily habits. What do I habitually do on a daily basis? How is my consistency?

Small actions are the ones that can over time, create big results. I used to question myself and wonder if I was going crazy for being so detailed. I now realize it’s a strength that I’ve been practicing over and over.

Flashback to when I was preparing for an important meeting a while ago, I had to remember to keep trusting my intuition and I was definitely tested. The other person showed up over 30 minutes late and unprepared. The tone of the conversation felt one-sided. I had to remind myself that I had the choice to continue the conversation or I could leave it.

After reflecting, I left the conversation. I had to honour how I was feeling in that moment. I reminded myself how important it is to respect the little things that people may overlook.

There are so many times that I just want to give up/give in to the path of least resistance. I’m sure some of you can relate. Keep finding your inner strength, reach out and know that you’re not alone.
